Our vision at IRONWILL is two-fold.

We are primarily committed to providing young Canadian athletes with high-performance, top-level football coaching and training to give them the overall skills, fitness and knowledge to realize their full potential and highest excellence on the football field.

Secondly, but no less important, is our vision to provide our athletes with the confidence and unshakeable IRONWILL to achieve their goals and stay competitive both on and off the field.

Here at IRONWILL we believe a genuine victory on the field includes excelling in ones own life off of it.

How IRONWILL FOOTBALL
can help an athlete

We provide positions specific coaching and instruction for all positions.

The camper will improve their football intelligence by understanding the primary roles and responsibilities of all positions and the game.

We teach new football techniques and fundamentals to advanced football skills.

We have phenomenal coaches who currently play or have played at the Junior, University or professional levels.

Our camps foster teamwork, leadership and provide the camper with the confidence needed to take on and overcome challenges on the field and in the rest of their life.

Steven Taylor testimony

My Son, Grayson, participated in the IRONWILL FOOTBALL Linemen Camp July 27th and 28th, 2019. Grayson enjoyed the camp immensely and was able to take away a number of new skills and techniques that will help him in his football career. He found the absolute focus on the offensive and defensive side of the ball very helpful and engaging. The coaches had a great deal of knowledge and passion and were able to transition this to the athletes in a very effective way. It was very apparent that one of the key fundamentals for the camp was to focus on the athleticism of the linemen not just the size and strength. I know Grayson took away a lot of things from Coach Tim and the entire staff as I am sure all of the athletes did. Thank you to all of the IRONWILL Coaches, we appreciated your time, passion and skill and will be back next year!

Christina Harmon, Medicine Hat, AB testimony

When my son saw a sign and decided to join tackle football I was so enthusiastic about it. When it came time to play football we were losing a lot of meaning, terminology and skills on position and footwork. My friend and I decided we needed to give our boys any possible head start we could. When we heard about IRONWILL FOOTBALL Performance Camp it was something we discussed and thought this maybe the edge we need for our boys and the beginning of their second year of tackle foot ball. We learned so much and we'l appreciated being allowed to learn what the boys were learning in the class, and how we ourselves can push the boys to perform and learn better and become an effective team mate. Everything they learned through iron will, will help them in their everyday football career. We will surely be taking the course again as a refresher. Thank you so much for your time and everything.

Janine Gerrard testimony

Big thank you to Coach Burris and his team! Damon attended his second IRONWILL FOOTBALL Camp this weekend. Smiled all the way home in the car and hasn't stopped talking about it. He is already counting the days until the summer camp. The IronWill coaching team is top notch and is what makes IRONWILL FOOTBALL Camp stand apart from any of the other camps out there. When someone loves what they do, it shows; and the coaching team's energy and passion for the game is absolutely contagious. Not only do they bring a great knowledge of the game, they bring a lot of skill in coaching and connecting with young people. Damon will carry that positive energy from the camp, the skills he was taught, and all the life lessons and messages the coaches have left him with into the upcoming season. What a great way to start a season!

Thank you all so much for bringing this wonderful opportunity to our small town. Our athletes rarely get a chance to experience something like this. We had our two sons in your camp in Rocky on June 19&20 and they both loved it. Even though one is 15 and the other is 10, they both learned a lot and felt included. The positive feedback was amazing from your coaches!! The individual instruction and back-to-basics skills training was exceptional. We are looking forward to the next camp guys!! Thanks again for a job well done!

I would like to personally thank Coach Burris and his amazing coaching team for a great weekend in Rocky Mountain House. The level of professionalism was exceptional. Our players do not get the chance to experience camps of this sort and we highly recommend this to all ages (8 - 18). We were quite impressed with the ability to coach this age range seamlessly. We will definitely be attending this camp in the future!!!

My son Konner attended the IRONWILL FOOTBALL Performance Camp in Lethbridge this weekend and loved it. The coaches were great and took the time to explain if a player was unsure about the directions. We weren't even a block from the field after they were done and Konner was asking if he can go to the next one! Great job coaches!

Deanna testimony

Coming from another province and not knowing what to expect, really had us in jitters...but from the moment we met Coach Burris and his staff to the moment we left...it's an experience my son and of course I, will never forget. All parts of the camp were great, but our favorite part of the camp was the morning conditioning and how the coaches instilled good work ethics in the boys making them work hard...and making them understand that it's not just about the foot'ball' but about being and having good physical and mental strength and ability both off and on the field. We could say many more good things about the camp but it's experiencing it for yourself that counts. This camp really was worth every minute it took us to drive out! We hope to catch an IronWill camp next year and years to come...

We want to thank Tim, Curtis and Deji for the effort and enthusiasm you put into every camp. Our son Duncan comes home tired and inspired. He has attended several football training clinics and Ironwill is by far the most professional and comprehensive. Thanks for your interest in Duncan's personal development on and off the field. We are recommending Ironwill to all his teammates on the Airdrie Storm football team.

The Iron Will Camps are undeniably the BEST football camps in Alberta! My son has attended another camp within Alberta and said that nothing can compare to the Iron Will Camp. Iron Will provides high energy, hard work, a ton of learning and a supportive, passionate atmosphere! My son was exhausted at the end of each day but LOVED every minute of it!!! He said that the camp really "lit the fire" for him! He cannot wait to attend more camps!!

Tannis Dorscht testimony

"Tim et al, You guys were amazing. I had planned on only registering my older son Gerrit in the Red Deer camp but when my younger son Ryker who also plays watched for a few minutes he wanted to join too. I was totally impressed with the repore you all built with the boys in the short time they spent with you. Gerrit who is going into grade 12 has taken the suggestions you gave him and brought them to his high school coaches. This has empowered him to have some say in his training which in turn has given him additional confidence. Ryker who has always played defense at the Atom level had a chance to learn some receiver skills and loved it, he can't wait to show his Atom coaches his new skillset. The skills you taught the boys went far beyond the football field, the inspiration, motivation, integrity, empowerment, and drive you instilled in them will help to not only be successful on the field but off as well. You guys are what coaching is all about, we will see you in Leduc!"

Tammy Holunga testimony

My son Alex who is soon-to-be 13 years old and will be moving up to the Bantam level this coming Fall, attended your Performance Camp this past weekend and I must say he was very pleased with the level of knowledge the coaches had and the only lineman in the camp, received impeccable one-on-one training a lot of the time! The registration process was fabulous and prior to camp I had a few questions and they were responded to very quickly with all my questions answered - thank you Coach Burris! We are huge football fans, our three boys all play for the Foothills Eagles (ATOM, Peewee and Bantam), are Stamps season ticket holders, have attended some Grey Cups, have coached and managed local teams, and must say we were very delighted and satisfied at the hard work the campers experienced and had our son wanting to do better because of the positive feedback and encouragement of your coaching team! Thank you for the great experience for our son and next time, we will have all of our three boys registered!

"Our son Chase attended a couple of IronWill camps last year, along with other football camps, and of all the camps he has attended he really enjoys the IronWill camps. He likes the fact that the groups are smaller giving them more one on one time, to focus on proper technique, and the ability to ask questions, without feeling rushed through drills. We are very fortunate to have someone like Tim, and his coaching staff, right here in Central Alberta, with all their experience, knowledge, patience, and passion for football. Tim, your kind heart, along with your love for the sport, and our youth, and their willingness to succeed not only on the field, but off the field, is evident. Thank-you so much for all the positive encouragement and one on one coaching you have done with Chase. What a difference you have made! We look forward to seeing you at the upcoming IronWill camps. "Hello Coach Burris and all the other coaches. Just wanted to tell you that our son River had a very good experience at your camp this past Saturday and Sunday. After River showed me a few of the exercises/drills etc. he learned at camp I totally understood why he was so stiff and sore for a couple of days afterwards! But all in all he really liked it and you will most definitely see him at the next one in March. Thanks so much"

have been to two camps and they have not only made me grow as a football player but as a person I have learned to never give up until the final whistle and work ethic. At times I thought I couldn't finish the drill but with the motivation and support from the amazing coaches and other players I got better. No matter what teams we play for in football when we are at iron will we are all one and I feel like this camp has made me grow as a person too.

In the words of Kohl "it was an AWESOME camp!" The coaching was fantastic, very knowledgeable, high energy and very positive in their encouragement. He learned so much. I liked the fact that you mixed the levels of players together and that the older players encouraged and mentored the younger ones. It was great to see. We will definitely be going to another Iron Will camp. Thank you!!

"First and foremost - THANK YOU - to ALL the coaches - much RESPECT to each of you for sure. Second, this was our first time at an IRONWILL Football Camp - but it won't be our last. My son, Elic (11 yrs) had an absolute BLAST at the 2-day camp this weekend. He has been begging to attend this camp, AND the summer camp, since he heard about them. And now that he's completed this one - all he can say is ""PLEASE Mom, let me come to the summer camp""... Lord Love Him <3 And last, but certainly not least - I definitely appreciate the comradery and team spirit that he felt just by being in the class. This is not always easy, especially when coaching big groups, of different aged kids, all at the same time. But you guys handled it, successfully I might add, and all in stride. THANK YOU FOR A GREAT EXPERIENCE!!! And, as the big Arnold would say - ""We'll be back""...!"

I can't say enough about IRONWILL FOOTBALL Camps. The intensity level is set from the moment the camp starts and is carried thru to the end of the camp. The pledge between the players and the coaches has stayed with my son and he is constantly bugging me to show him my Twitter feed to see what Coach Tim is saying. To quote my son " It was the most fun I have ever had running my bag off"

Shawna Anderson testimony

I thought it was awesome that the coaches were on a first name basis with the boys by noon lol! No name tags needed - shows they care and are paying attention. I also liked how they made it fun for the boys - even the grueling cardio was full of encouragement and distracting noises to keep the boys willing to give their all. Another very good point was that those boys who sustained injuries on the first day were still included in the second day doing what they could and observing and listening when they could not participate so they still learned something lol! Thank you so much!

Tammy Shevalier (Jesse Cooling) testimony

My son Jesse went to the camp in May 8/9 and I was very impressed with how the camp was run. The coaches were absolutely awesome the way they worked with the athletes and encouraged those that maybe were not as fast as some of the others. My son thought the camp was well worth the drive and hard work. He is looking forward to the one in July. I would recommend this camp to any parents who have athletes that want to play football. Hats off to a wonderful program. Well done!!

This camp was the first I had ever attended and it was definitely a great first-time experience. I highly recommend this camp to anyone that would like to progress their skills in football. Not only did I learn new skills and techniques within my position, but also the lesson of hard work and determination will help you both on and off the field. I believe that football is the best team sport in the world. You always have to work as a team, there is never one player that can carry the team you need to work together like a family and this is what I learned from Tim and his coaching staff. To all future participants; take these lessons and use them well in life and you can do anything you put your mind to. I have just finished high school football in Fall of 2012 and soon after I was recruited by the Edmonton Huskies a Junior Team out of the Prairie Junior Football League. Well done IronWill!
